BreastScreen SA is excited to share that our new Modbury clinic is set to open this June, with bookings now open.
The new clinic, located within the GP Plus Super Clinic Modbury, will offer a high-quality and welcoming breast cancer screening service to women living in the north-east of Adelaide. Its central location will make it easier than ever for clients to attend their regular breast screen close to home.
Women aged 40 and over are eligible for a free breast screen every two years. With the clinic set to open its doors in June, BreastScreen SA is encouraging eligible women to book early and make their breast health a priority.
Regular breast screening is the best way to find cancer early. Early detection of breast cancer improves treatment options and health outcomes, and the new Modbury location aims to make this important health check more accessible for the community.
If you're a woman aged over 40, especially 50 to 74 years, a free 15-minute breast screen could save your life.
Appointments can now be made online at breastscreen.sa.gov.au/book or by calling 132050.
