BreastScreen SA’s State Coordination Unit and Assessment Clinic will be temporarily relocating to a new CBD site within the next 6 months, while building works are undertaken at our Flinders Street premises.

All of our services, including our dedicated Assessment Clinic, will continue to operate as normal until the move, and there will be minimal disruption for our clients.

It is important that clients booked for assessment at Flinders Street be reassured that it is safe to attend for their appointment and do not delay assessment. If you have concerns regarding your upcoming appointment, please contact your Nurse Counsellor on the details provided to you at the time of making your appointment.

While there is elevated moisture within the building and mould enclosed within the wall cavities, air testing is stable and it is safe for our clients to attend and for our staff to be onsite.

This building issue is only with our Flinders Street site and does not impact on our screening clinics or the operation of our service.

BreastScreen SA will provide more information about our new temporary location as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please contact us on 13 20 50.
